Well I’m locking to purchase a 5.7 vortech motor. Where can I purchase a good reman motor from?

Personally I'd go with a junkyard engine before most of the re-man Vortec engines on the market, you could probably get one for very cheap. Remanufactured means different things to different people, but the factory builds them the same way every time.

Thanks! I will probably get my engine rebuilt. This way I will know what I have.

I got a new gm goodwrench 5.7 tbi from pace performance a year ago for about $1700 shipped. I think the vortec were around $2000.

I got the one Twin4573 posted above, a few weeks ago when ebay was having one of their coupon deals. So, $1879.99-$100 off coupon-$100 gift card=$1679.99 for a brand new vortec crate engine. Seemed like a pretty good deal to me. That's cheaper than most reman engines.
