New Engine

Ok guys. My engine just died. I'm gonna replace it. Keep in mind that I'm 17 so I'm on a minimum wage budget. What could I do as far as engine mods are concerned to get more horsepower? I want to stick with the 350 vortec.

I already did the throttle blade mod, Im looking at headers. What would you all recommend?

I've got the JBA stainless shorties. They fit very well, no complaints.
