I am doing the oil cooler lines on my truck 1995 cclb 3500 dually 7.4l 4l80e and the fittings that thread into the block are different. I did not get new fittings right away and then I thought they where the same so I ordered 2 befor I took the other one out and it appears to have something different on it am I good to go without that extra plastic piece? What does it do? its the one pictured
