Need help on Removing air vents out of dash bezel

I am currently in the process of repainting the dash bezel in my 1998 GMC k1500 and need to know how to remove the vents out of the bezel since im painting them a different color. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Its pretty easy just get a flat head screw driver and lift the 4 clips up holding them in. Just make sure you dont pry so hard you break the tabs off.

You'll find the tabs facing the center of the dash are covered in a sticky gummy tape. The vents themselves are many pieces, too. I pulled mine apart, but haven't painted them yet. I have not pulled the two vents on the passenger side yet.
