Welcome to the forum. Nice truck, and very nice 1965 GTO. Looks like your taking your truck to some car shows. I love it. I take mine to our local car shows all of the time. Mostly crews in shows, but the 2 pay to enter shows I put mine in, I won a 3ed place trophy each time.

Thanks! My truck is Annie and the GTO is Jolene. I've put Annie in two shows (paid to enter) and she's been thoroughly insulted both times. First time an El Camino won 80s/90s truck. Then just a couple weeks ago a 2006 SSR won best 80s and up truck. IN TEXAS people are voting these nonsense vehicles as trucks! Apparently I need to start my own truck show...

I have been having my truck for 20 years, and I still haven't named it, LOL. IDK why, I just haven't. I have seen car shows where what should win doesn't, and what should win does, but at the end of the day, you have a nice truck, no mater what. A lot of people don't think a lot of these trucks, but at 25 years old, it is a classic. 30 years old, and it's an antique. Those are the facts. The first trophy I one, the judges were younger. 20s to 30s. The second show I won at, the vehicles were judged for 5 different things. Engine bay, wheels & tires, paint & finish, interior, and overall condition. Each of these were a 10 point category. So you could get up to 50 points. There were over 200 vehicles there, and no one got a 50. I scored a 38, and was told, that was very high. A true and fair car show, is judged with a point system. That is the correct, and fair way to judge a car show. It's not supposed to be what the judges like, it's supposed to be what is in the best shape in it's category.

Oh for sure. I know 90s is still too young to really be as desirable. I wanted an 87 but I can't afford one of those I'm totally okay with losing to better trucks. I'm not okay with all the real trucks present losing to vehicles that aren't even trucks!
