I addd the chrome shifter, knob and painted the lower dash pieces awhile back just never got pics.

this is more like it, cleaned up and tires shined..

I also took the factory paint off the top of the grille too..

been doing alot more work, front end rebuild, clean and declutter underhood more, chrome etc..


I relocated the washer jug, overflow tank, hood latch cable and some other stuff, also started filling in the holes left from their moutning points..

I ran new battery cables and got some hose braid too.

I installed my valve covers and wing bolts, also painted the front brackets again, this time silver.

I relocated my gauges to the pocket over the heater controls.

I also made some covers for the wiper motor and cruise box, but I think I'm going to leave the cruise off.

Then I started my front end rebuild..

I decided to remove the front diff. and clean it up while I was at it, paint it, maybe install new seals, it has a PS axle seal leaking and pinion seal as well.

since i wanted to remove the abs or RWAL crap and my hoses didn't look so good when I tore down the front end I decided to ditch it now since I have to bleed the brakes..

Now we are up to date, I removed the diff. and did the abs delete today and then finally cleaned alot of stuff up.

I have to second coat it all tomrrow. Then maybe I can put stuff back together.

today I did the second coat and then installed the bj's and the knuckles.

the front end is back together now. I still have to bleed the braks and put in some gear oil, oil change, ps fluid fill up, double check my toe measures, get it aligned, etc. etc. LOL

Anyways been working on the inners fenders, getting them ready for paint.

body worked the inners, painted the bottom same as the frame, primed the tops going to paint them the same blue the truck is going to be.

found somethings a bit interesting tearing down the front, well removing the fender.

that doors been hard to shut and makes a loud pop when it catches you have to pull hard, roller pin is bent bad. I knocked it out, going to order a new one for both of them. Also had the top mounting ear broke off for the fender, been broke awhile it was rusted.

I got some PAINT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
