My dad has owned this Suburban since it was new in 1994 it has been in Washington state for its whole life until my dad retired from the Air Force and for a few months it has resided in Texas where my parents moved. And since I was probably fifteen (I am 24 now) I have been begging my dad for ownership. When they moved down there he said I could have it when he wanted a new truck. So I picked it up almost two years ago now and drove it back to Washington. So that's the back story. It is a 1994 Chevrolet Suburban C1500 2wheel drive, with the 350 in it. This is my daily driver until I get my wife a new car and use her 2004 Cavalier for a daily. Once that happens the real modifications can happen, dreams of a 454 supercharged and a Ride Tech four link and drop-spindal are what I want to do. I have loved this truck for a very long time I think it is the best truck chassis out there and I think it is also the best looking generation(9th) of Silverado. This truck has been a constant in my life for a long time and has a lot of memories and is very sentimental to me.

Here are some pics of when I first picked it up and road tripped it back to its real home in Washington

Then the upgrades happened.

Started with a Gibson cat back exhaust and a Pioneer head unit, all new speakers, and two 10" subs with amp and capacitor(I need to wire up a second capacitor)

I picked up some C10 rally steelies. My plan is to powder coat them back to silver instead of the spray spraypainted matte black and get new center caps and rings with BF Goodrich Radial T/As. Going for a muscle truck look. I am not to keen on super flashy wheels. These picks are just me trying on the wheels.

Also picked up some new headlights and markers and a polished aluminum front badge (lame cell pic)

Thats the full history of my ownership of my Beast. Present day has involved getting a new steering gear installed because the twenty year old one decided it needed to have a crack. I do have to say having new steering feel makes it feel young and fresh. And just today I installed a new magnaflow catalytic converter because the original one broke apart completely and that rattle was driving me crazy and I never wanted to roll the window down.

The pile of debris is all the pieces of cat I had to shake out of the muffler

Thanks man. Yeah my goal is to always keep it clean, especially with the modifications everything I change on it has to be done right and exactly how I want it. So I am taking my time and always thinking "will I like this in the long term". I am glad I found this forum, it has so much information!!!
