Manual window door panel interchangeability

I will be updating the dash in my '92 with a later '95-96 style and want to switch the door panels too. Are the window crank positions in the same place between the 88-94 and the 95+? Or do I have to take the later door guts too?

The doors are different. You will need to modify the interior surface of the door, for the door panels to work.
