The LQ9 will be lighter.

are you 100% sure?? ive had people say the opposite,
im just trying to find out like that i know what new drop springs to put in there cause im gonna be replacing all the underside bushings and a-arm bushings ( cause they are squeeking) and id like to remove the coils once :hmm:

the way i see it, is the 5.7L has more metal than a 6.0 would... and the lq9 has aluminum heads i think..

My 6.0 was definitly lighter than my tbi 350 that I used to have, partly due to the aluminum heads.

thanks guys, does anyone think my front nitro shocks could have gone bad for sitting for so many years?? is there a way to check them ??

Its not exactly a perfect test, but it kinda works. Push down on each corner (one at a time) of the truck as hard as you can, and release. If it bounces more than once or twice, you more than likely have bad shocks.
