....its a 2500 so it starts 2 inches higher....

Is this a fact or internet myth? My stock suspension 2500 doesn't seem 2" taller when I park next to stock 1500's. I haven't pulled out a tape to compare though....

well when i put 3/4 ton springs in my 98 z71 it raised it 2.5 inches

Since all the older tbi 454s were were just old carbed 454s with adapters I may just go looking for a 454 locally since the one I wanted to get didn't pan out.
