I have #1157 36smd LEDs in my turn sigs.
Do NOT run resistors. Those things are a fire hazard just waiting to 'flame-on'! They get stupid hot!
Pick up an EP-29 flasher unit to eliminate the fast-flash. $10.00?

Great post and a new guy question- having never done this, where did you buy these? I assume they come in necessary colors for the the application? Yellow for the corner lamps, red for the brake lights? I'd like to install them- saw some YouTube videos as well on how good these plasma LEDs are.... Thanks much!

Did them on my 95 Tahoe, got the bulbs off superbrightleds and the flashers from Napa, on mine I needed one for the hazards and one for the turn signals, worked great

You guys must have been reading my mind, or vice versa. Anyways I've been kicking around the idea of changing all my bulbs over to LED. Was looking around superbrights website and some of the bulbs say to use with or with out CAN Bus. I did do some reading online but nothing seemed to answer my question. Kinda figured since it said "newer cars" that I don't need the CAN Bus. Just want to get it sorted out before I order the wrong bulbs and possibly burn my truck down. Note, changing the bulbs over to LED is just for a bit, until I can find some nice trail light assemblies etc. Any input or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks
