leaving lights on..is there a dinger?

well i got a 98 z71, an when i leave my lights on i have no dinger to tell me they are still on. Its not to bad when im driving beause i know better but when my family drives it sometimes they forget..so is there a dinger sapose to be in these trucks to tell you they r on?

does it make a noise if you leave the keys in the ignition and open the drivers door?

nope..having the keys in an the doors open it dont make a noise...an its the same with the lights...so i was just wonderin if these trucks have them or if the previous owner removed the fuse or somethin?

look under the drivers side near kick panel on firewall there is a block with different power connection in the right upper corner of it there should be a black relay box thats the buzzer
