Not even close. I had an employee discount at the auto parts store I was running the commerical counter in when I bought the fuel tank, sending unit and a lot of other items. The Proflow 4 was about half price too. This could have been a lot more $$$$ to get the same build.To be fair, even of the things he did buy, I doubt he paid the going rate.
It was not honed at all. LT1 pistons and new rings on a ~120K mile bore. After I cleaned and measured them, the bores were beautiful as it sat minus some very minor vertical scuffing in a few places.I thought this was a dingleball hone job.
I have no idea, except wasn't the the Buick guys budget 350 build using a 010 block with a similar $ of machine work done? Maybe he confused these two builds.So where's $2000 in machine work coming from then?
It will also be interesting to see if a MSD6A box changes anything.
