I have never gotten that foolish. We once shortened and cut the roof off a VW Rabbit. That was fun watching the smoke coming over the hood when doing burnouts dragging the E brake. That poor car took quite a whopping.

keep the front suspension the way it is and just have CV outers in the hub bearings to keep the wheel bearings together and remover whatever you want after that.

Damn that is bad ass. Any pic of underneath it or build specs of it.

Not that I've seen, unfortunately. Just stumbled across that video somehow killing time on YouTube one day. If anyone knows anything more about it I'd love to hear it, though!

Entirely a pointless conversion..

x2.. Its as simple as removing the front drive shaft and well-lah, 2wd. If you want a 2wd so bad, sell/trade it for a 2wd. Don't butcher a 4wd that somebody else would love to have. Just my .02
