So I picked up a 1996 C1500 2WD from my aunt a few weeks ago after my uncle passed away. Couldn't let it leave the family but I'm not a stock truck kind of guy.
I have all my plans lined out but was wondering on some wheel back spacing and tire sizing. I've searched a ton and found some info, but some is conflicting.

I am doing a 4" spindle lift, with a 1-2" block. The tires I want to run are 285/70r17 MTs with a 17x9 wheel with a -12mm offset. I want the aggressive stance but I don't want to have to trim. Will I still clear with those tires and wheel specs? I could always go 265/70 but I feel 31.5" would be too small.

Thanks in advance
