On my 95 Tahoe I need to remove the ground on the intake, when I put it back on do I need to put anything on the threads? Or once it is tight won't have any leaks from there?

I'd put some RTV on the threads then torque it down

RTV should only be used if the bolt goes through, or close to a water jacket. Besides RTV, the intake gasket should be enough to keep water from coming up that bolt hole.

If a ground bolt went through into a water passage or liquid passage it couldn't be a ground bolt. You also don't want to put anything on threads that is a ground bolt. If you want to do anything with a ground bolt you could paint it or use a bit of dialectric grease.
