Instrument Cluster?

I got a quote from a local wrecker yard that an Instrument Cluster for my 1996 Chevy will be $80. This seems far too high? Thoughts

I paid about that for my Escalade cluster, but I wouldn't pay that for an ordinary one.

You can pick them up at the junkyard around here for about $25 if that helps you any.

Im not sure if the ones at the junkyard would work is all, could be fudged just like mine and Id be wasting $25 - $30 haha
