So my dads out of town for 2 weeks. I have a body shop painting his truck. He wants dark blue as I have talked to him about since he wanted to have me help him paint it. I don’t paint. I’ve done 2 trucks in the past. His and my old one.

His is a single cab step side.

I was thinking of deep ocean blue that comes on new GM and Chevy trucks. But in the sun it’s quite bright/light. Looks great at night though. The other color I found

is a bmw blue. Any color code ideas or pics of your gmt400 dark blue options? I have seen a factory dark royal blue that I think he’d like.



UNLESS I just tell him and let him decide. That’s fine, but I’d hate to give up his surprise coming back from vacation to a fresh paint job.

Fresh tint on Friday. Step shaver kit is being installed also. So the rear step will get deleted if you didn’t know what the step shaver means.

If you want to stay with factory GM colors, Indigo Blue is a nice dark blue, with some metalic, so really kicks off in the sun.

beautiful trucks guys! I love that color, indigo blue. what would something like this be called in the square body era? that's what my Grandpa had and one day i want to re-create his old pick up.

Our 2018 Yukon in dark sapphire blue metallic. We have received so many compliments on the color, yet you hardly see any on the road. It looks different according to light. Sometimes black, purple, blue etc. I absolutely love it.
