I found out I have a bad Ignition Switch and will be getting it replaced on my 1998 Chevrolet K1500 5.7L. I would like to hear if anyone has had to get there ignition switch replaced and how much they paid for it?

Had mine done by dealer, could've done it myself but didn't have time to. Was about $260 total. Just do it yourself it's not very hard. Just be careful when you remove the piece of trim on the top of the steering column that you don't break the clips or anything like that.
