Anybody, got any tips on removing a broken rocker arm stud? Truck started idling funny at lunch today, I had it towed home and took off the valve cover, cyl 3 exhaust rocker arm was laying at the bottom of the head. i guess there's about half inch left of the stud, how can I remove it?

eeeww, normally you use washers and a nut to pull them, but you have no threads. maybe tap and die set to put some threads on it, then use nut and washer(s). if that fails you may end up having to remove the head and have somebody do it, or maybe weld some to that to pry or pull from.
