I worked swing shift for a long time. 4 , 10's. So I always had easy drive in , against all the commute traffic. And worked every holiday @ double time and a half.
She who must be obeyed started to complain until she looked at numbers, then had a whole new outlook on life.

One thing I loved about being an Air Force maintainer, there's no traffic on the road at 0530, nor at 1500. The only better option is teleworking. I put about 5000 miles on my Mustang this year.
