pretty good info as far as the actual tails go you can use 180grit to knock down the letters and I use to always use a red scotchbright pad but Ive picked up the wetsanding the lights withh 1000 grit after knocking the lketters down makes them come out even slicker. The one other thing I would like to see is an adhesion promoter just to make sure that paint sticks over time. :cheers: and no this method wont fade or dry out your lenses.

i didnt even think about taking the letters off lol.....good idea though, will have to keep that in mind

Makes them a lot cleaner...also when you buff em you dont have to worry about burning through where the letters are
