How to remove side molding?

Do you guys know the best safest way to remove the side molding off the side of my truck? I want the molding gone and I want to install a simple 454ci emblem on the side of the fenders.

A link would be great and I'll take advice as well.

Jump onto you tube. There are several videos there. I watched 5 or 6 yesterday. All very informative, including tools, equipment and techniques. I will be doing mine as well, good luck to you!

How about the chrome molding on the fenders around the wheel welds ?

Pretty sure that's just held on with a couple of screws. Look along the inside edge.
