Thanx. But i think curent scheme is better in a way when you turn off warm engine and fan cool down the antifreeze. Cos 5 minutes later when you'll start the engine again temperature gonna be above normal.

Yea thats a good point as well... Ive been told the battery will drain but it only kicks in 2or 3 times for about a minute after shutting off...

I had my flex a lite in my S10 wired straight to the battery an never had a problem with it draining the battery ever. Probably ran it like that for 4 years.

It helped the mpg on it a good bit also

I can honestly say yes it does... It's not a huge difference but a noticeable difference... I dont have any hard numbers 2 back it up... just my experience... I drive 60 miles (59 1/2 hwy) round trip everyday for work and was using about a 1/4 tank everyday... And after installing the MarkVIII a 1/4 tank stretched out to work back home and work again... If that makes any sense... That's just how I monitored it...

got a 18" one this weekend. going to get volvo relay tomorrow. whats the best way to add the temp sensor? since the stock t stat is a 195 would the best settings for fan be low speed at around 190 and high at like 210? i want to add a ovveride switch too i think for crossing deep water. i figure if i do that ill change the light to be bright red so it will stick out since all my lights are blue inside a red light will warn me i have my fans off, trying to plan this out good so i can get it all done one weekend
