make sure they are familiar with the requirements for a 411 tune to work properly (VATS off/etc) this should help out: http://www.gmtruckcentral.com/articles/12200411.html

I have my mark VIII hooked up to be controlled through the 411 PCM. here is an article written by another member here about how he did it, and I wrote the addendum for how to do it through the PCM instead: http://www.gmtruckcentral.com/articles/markviii.html

ok cool, thks for all your info bud. i have got to study all this and make sure nothing gets screwed up. but i will try to wire it the way u have though the pcm. so u basically just tap into those 2 pcm wire for the signals?

would these 2 relays be the ones i need?

5pin ?

if those are REALLY 80A relays, then yeah they should work. I'm actually using 200A continuous duty solenoids on mine because I couldn't find any proper high amp relays at the time, but that's a bit overkill.

Aloicious,

ive been reading the diagram. Do the 411 Pcm connections that go into the low circuit of the relay act as a ground when the pcm send the signal??

the PCM controls the fans through a ground, so the PCM isn't 'sending a signal', it's actually completing a ground which activates the circuit. if that makes sense.

Yes that makes sense now, from the diagram a ground is what i thought needed to complete the circuit i just was not sure if the pcm connections actually made a ground.. thought it would send a positive charge for some reason.. thats why i was a lil confused but i think i got it now... now im going to try some better quality relays than those ebay ones i found.

quik question did you place a fuse on the heavy circuit between battery and the relay? and what amp fuse do you recommend? 60a or 70a? or neither lol? sory for a ll the questions.

thanks for the help!!!!
