I'm Mike from Germany, aged 39
American cars fascinate me ever since I was a small boy, no clue why actually.
Well it wasn't until 2000 when I got my first Chevy, an S10.
In 2012 I had bought a Mustang GT MJ 05 which I enjoyed driving for some 2 years.
13 months ago I felt it was time for another pickup and I was up to a 454 SS in first place. Unfortunately there are only a dozen or so in europe and the one I looked at was totally far from original so I turned it down.
Had I known that the next one, a GMC K1500 would get me in deep trouble I would have been a lot better off with that 454.
Well it needed a complete restauration, frame off, thousands put in.
Now it is done and I am struggling to get it street legal due to some minor things.
I hope to find interesting people here to share ideas and experience.
