98 silverado with brand new fuel pump, fuel lines, filter. Truck is getting the correct amount of fuel (checked with gauge) also getting great fire (new plugs, wires and coil pack.) Also has new crank sensor. You can sit and crank on it and it will not start. Sometimes when you release the key, it wants to continue cranking, but just for a second or two. Also the truck has new ignition switch and lock cylinder. Had Gm tech hook up a tech 2 but it didn't pick up anything other than the crank sensor. Absolutely driving me crazy!

Vortec's need over 60 psi of fuel pressure to start properly. Have you tried to poor a little gas in the throttle body. If that doesn't work, did the timing chain jump time ? Put the crank pulley on TDC ( on the compression stroke) then pull the distributor cap and see if the rotor is pointing to number one plug wire. Along with what Justin S said.

Did you confirm that you are actually getting spark? Its actually more common for the ignition control module (black box on the heat sink next to coil) to go out than the coil itself.
If you don't have a spark tester, pull a plug and see if it sparks to the valve cover or other ground while cranking.

Replaced all injectors, double checked the firing order and nothing still. Also, gas was topped off.
