help with removal

98 c1500 3rd door pickup.

on the driver side seat belt where the belt meets the floor, there is some cover. I cannot figure out how to get this cover off. I don't want to break it. so any help is appreciated.

The ones i've seen that plastic cover is riveted on. Once you pop that cover off to see bolt holding seat belt assembly down. Remove bolt and then remove seat belt assembly from floor and flip it over to see under it and you can see that plastic cover has tabs that are riveted on seat belt assembly. You can break rivets but there still is no way to remove plastic cover from seat belt assembly unless you cut seat belt webbing.

On my 90, there is a back access cover that comes off so you can get to the bolts that hold the seat belt down.
