help power steering

I changed my power steering pressure hose, filled up the reservoir to the cold mark and started the truck. But the wheel wont really move side to side much at all??

When I change a pump or hose, etc. anything dealing with power steering, I jack up the front to the point where the wheel's are just off of the ground, and then start the truck and turn the wheel lock to lock 10 times, also leave the power steering cap off during this process. It will purge the air from the system.

thank you dude, i removed the cap and jacked it up, wrestled with it back and forth a few times and it freed up i could hear a lot of air purging out. topped it off with fluid and she's good to go.
