help on removing glue from a bug deflector

so today i decided to take off my bug deflector. after i got it off there is just the leftover glue residue, how in the world do i get it off with out messing up the paint.

I always used nail polisher remover, just dont keep it on the paint too-long.

ya because before i posted this i typed it in on google and found people saying use a toothbrush or sponge with wd40. so i tryed it on 1 or the 4 squares i have, and it messed it up big time, witch i already threw so wax on it and it didnt even change it, hopfully a little scratch remover can cover it up. (very fin scratches)

3m eraser wheel and slow speed on cordless drill.

This combined with some 3M Adhesive Remover spray and it will melt off like butter. Advance sells some stuff in a small blue can that is even better btw, I keep a bottle of it on hand for tough stuff but the 3M stuff has like 4x the volume for the same price.
