problems been diagnosed.. Spider injector is bad, must've sucked up all that gunk from the bottom of the tank an ruined it, gonna replace it with the MPFI

Good deal.

Keep an eye on the plug wires, cap and rotor. You said the spark plugs were bad and looked original. Those won't be far behind.

it sounds strange but I checked my cap a few days ago and found it had been replaced, not exactly sure about the distributor or rotor but wires and cap have been changed previously but the plugs definitely had not been.. But while I had the cap off I took some sand paper to it and cleaned the points.
