Ok- turns out the replacement switch itself was the culprit!!! Returned it, New one, put in, waaalaa!!!

Now, my hand on the other hand.....

Just went through this myself, it is not a fun thing to do for sure ! Glad you got it worked out.

Crazy- like anything else, it gets slightly less annoying when you do it the 2nd time. Having a bent needle pliers helped 2nd time. After last week, my hand was swollen w scabs!
