97 Vortec 5.7 L is a grate engine. I have had mine sense 2002.

I got my truck two week’s. GMC come from Texas and got no rust. Engine and trans ori got 247k mil and still run good.

I use to have 94 Impala SS swaped (cammed Ls1 with stalled 4L80e) i sold her after engine blow :/
