HEAVY TIRES and spindle lift?

88-98 What is the heaviest wheel tire combo you guys are comfortable with running without fear of breaking them.

I have LT285/70R17 tires on steel 17x8 cragar soft 8's on mine. Kinda heavy. Lol

Ya, I'm at 102lbs per wheel just seems like a lot of weight on that spindle.. I've talked to three people here locally that broke spindles so I'm just paranoid I guess.

Whew that's heavy. For reference I'm at 78 lbs each with my 33's. Don't know what is too heavy though...

Do they have the same spindle as a 1/2 ton ?

No, the 3/4-1 tons have a thicker spindle. Maybe call your spi dle manufacturer?

Maaaybe... if they are smart they would, but not all small companies think of adding those disclaimers.
