Just put in a set of headers and the drivers side collector exits right in front of the transmission crossmember. Anyone else have this problem?

I think I understand what you're saying. Worst care scenario, you can have a new crossmember made shaped sorta like this /-\_/-\ , wouldnt take much metal work.
