I am going to lift it later. I'm just worried about them rubbing until I can get the lift.

Ok. Little bit of an update: As ya'll know I'm 15. No license just a permit which means I have to drive with an adult(parent). My dad works full time and my mom works part time so I see my mom more than my dad. Bottom line, she won't let me drive my truck until I get new tires. Lame, I know. She doesn't trust 'em now. Anyways, I've seriously been researching tires and I came across the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. $788 shipped from tirerack.com.

On another note, My dad gave me the idea of leaving my truck relatively stock and not throwing much money at it and he and I would buy a project truck to fix up together. The only things we would consider other than trucks are '64-'66 Mustangs or a '70 Chevelle.

What do you guys think? About the tires? About the project truck? Recommendations on what project truck (or mustang or chevelle) to get? Too many options.

Even if you had a project car/truck you still want your DD to look good. You could always throw so 255/70r15's on there and roll out and it would save money. Mayb buy a 4wd for a project. Unless you know that you will never go off road then just lift your 2wd. Sorry I didn't really help u much there lol.

No I agree. I'm still going to do some things to my '95 but I'm not going to throw a whole lotta $$$ at it. It will go towards the project. And I want a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD Crew D-max but the whole price thing is too much for us right now.

I was thinking a '53 Chevy 3100, '55 Ford F100, '70 Chevelle, 70's Ford High-Boy, or a '79 Chevrolet CCLB 4x4. I don't know. I'll just keep looking.

lol even though the suggestion I made was my favorites, I like all of the ones you listed too, I'm totally up in the air on projects myself. I wanna do a OBS cc dually with a cummins swap, but you can't beat the looks of old trucks or muscle cars. Guess ill base my decision on what I can find and afford at the time
