Getting door keys

As you may recall, this is my beater truck. I bought it and it just has the igntition key but no door keys. Since I have a prepaid lockout service, this is not the highest priortity so I want to see how cheaply I can get a key and what would be required of me to get that key.

Again, this is no rush at all.

if the truck has the orginal doors on it you can go to a gm dealer and bring your title or regestrition with your name on it and you can get a key made for under 10$

Called all dealers in my area and they advised that they cannot cut the keys for my truck since it is too old. They can't cut anything before 1992 and advised that this is probably a dealer wide situation. Any other ideas?

go to a salvage yard find a truck with keys,pull the door handles problem solved

2 bolts 10mm you have to remove door panel for one of them

You can also take your locks to a locksmith shop and they can set the tumblers and cut a key for them. Had that done to my 92.

I had this done a few years ago for the doors I put on my 1998 cost me 13.85 for two keys and had them back in by the end of the day
