i go another frame to replace the one i beer canned on my truck last year. the "new" frame had a bent rail back by the rear bumper so i too kit to the body shop to have it straightened before i paint it. i got it back and it looks really straight but i noticed where it was bent they put a torch to it and heated it up. is this normal?? i thought heating the frame was bad?? or am i just being a paranoid d!ck???

I'm sure it will be fine, heating metal makes it stronger. And since its under the bed its not like its very stressed.
