Exhuast manifold bolts help

I need help my exhuast manifoild flange bolts are rusted in big time. I cant get them to budge. Also I dont want to take the manifold off becuase its has never been off its a 4.3 1991 V6 What can i do to fix this.

Could i just drill the old ones out then put a nice split flange on the y pipe and then get longer bolts and button it up

At work we torch the bolts that are frozen. Just enough til there glowing lol

I have the same issue on mine. So far one 1 out of 6 studs are out plus 1 stud sheared off at the bottom.

Got the nuts and springs off with a combo of pb blaster, socket extensions and nut extractors

Plan for now is to torch the sheared stud, and just reuse the rest if they won't budge.

When you put it together...use brass nuts.

i made a clamp I used two split camps and long bolts to hold things together
