Exhaust Question

I Have a 96 k1500 with 5.7 and all stock exhaust. Since I don't have to money right now< I want to just cut it somewhere to give it that deep sound. Where would be the best place to do this

right before the muffler is where I would do it. I would do it to mine but it's illegal here. You could also go as far as to gut your cat

If you just want to cut it off and have a deeper tone DO NOT gut the cats. But cut it off right before the muffler.
