entry remote where to get a replacement

The one on ebay is only 30 bucks. Thats pretty cheap.

i got mine on ebay for 19, super easy to program too

for a 98 the fob number is 16245100-29 and is just a lock/unlock buttons

personally i would get a aftermarket system as this one really sucks, half of the time you have to be next to the truck for it to work

i have been considering a remote start.bulldog has a remote start/alarm/keyless entry for 120 dollars.just dont know about the wiring.would likely call the truck everythang under the sun

with the remote locks on obdII trucks you have to jump 2 terminals in the ALDL connector(#4 & #8) with the ignition on and holding the unlock and lock button, i don't think there is any way to retrofit it into the obd I trucks.
