I'm kinda confused. While driving my wife's Suburban it just shut off and while we were coasting along it came back on like nothing had happened.

* The SES light was on for an O2 sensor (bank 2, sensor 2)
* I had just set the cruise at 60 mph
* Everything electrical shut off, but it was still registering speed and RPMs and the BRAKE light came on
* There was a slight jerk/clunk when it shut off

This whole thing lasted about five seconds and everything seemed to come back on normally. The only thing that was different was that the SES light is now off.

^^ Yup to both of those. Make sure there is no corrosion between the battery cable terminals if you still have side posts.

Also, make sure your ground straps are still in good condition.

I'll check connections tonight. I was wondering if it might be a ground issue.

Thanks :)
