Hey everyone,

I have 2 loose connectors if found in my engine bay.

1 is right next to the battery and runs to the juction block, believe it is what is suppose to give the block battery power. I havent been able to locate a replacement to the part that goes from connector to battery. Any confirmation and help would be appreciated.

The 2nd is close to the engine, has a blue and purple wire. I have red in other threads that sometimes there are extra wires on the harness, but just wanted to get a confirmation.

Truck is a 1994 k1500 5.7 350

Thanks again

The one next to the battery with the orange and black wire is for the optional underhood trouble light which you dont seem to have

Sorry for the bad pic. That plug next to the battery with the orange and black wire is for the underhood reel light.
It was an option.
It is not used in your case.
Ill try to find the other one on my 94

What thinger2 said

and the other one is unused in every example I've seen so far. Presumably it has a purpose, some option or device most of us don't have, but I was asking the same question back in 2006.. some browsing through the factory service manuals might answer the question but you'd have to find the wiring diagram for the combination that actually uses that connector.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you.
Did you figure out that 2nd plug yet?
I have altered and rewired that part of my harness to get the wires away from the head and intake and make it easier to pull the valve covers.
What color are the wires going into the plug?
I may have maybe found that plug on my 94 and it is connected to something back near the distributor.
I just want to make sure I am looking at the same thing before I crawl up there and get stuck and need my wife to pull me back out...
Again...

Haha, yea, that plug has blue and purple wires. I think its just an extra, not a clue what it goes to
