Dynomax universal ultra flow 17519

green at this exhaust thing. You guys are good at this 1000 times over. I got 1991 gmc 5.7. Can I put Dynomax ultra flow muffler 17519 on my stock exhaust with cat still on?. I will there Be issues with dash engine lights?.. and how about the sound?. I know it’s gutless but want that extra sound , but not too much.

If you install the muffler close to the factory location you will not have any issues

17233 would be my recommendation. Depends on how loud you want it, and if you want to run dual exits off of the muffler?

The 17233 is a 3"I/O muffler that has a 20" body. It will give you a nice low clean sound and shouldn't have any drone with the cat still in place.

Ive used the 17233 along with a Vibrant resonator in a S10 with 5.3 and it was very nice and tame with a nice sound.
I have the 17235 on my 2500HD without cats and its still nice and tame.
