Dome Light issue...Always On

2000 K3500 CCSB and when I bought the truck the dome light did not work. No biggie, replace the light bulb. Turns out the fuse was pulled. I put the fuse back in the dome light circuit and the light comes on 100% of the time. I don't believe its the door switch because the most annoying sound in the world still comes on when the truck is running and the door is open (are these two circuits on the same switch?). Any thoughts? Any common failures to check out?

Also my power door locks are disabled as well. Every time I put a fuse in that circuit, it blows immediately. From what I can tell, 1 of the 3 cigarette lighter sockets in connected to that circuit as well as the lumbar support pump. Anyone else have experience here?
