I was curious if these heads would work, and decent priced for swapping onto my 350 ... http://www.ebay.com/itm/270797692034?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I have been looking around for the past month but want to make sure I am getting a decent deal. Tax returns so time to spend some on the truck :)

Also - those heads on my 94 block, with http://www.ebay.com/itm/38037286221...11&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT&vxp=mtr for an intake (would use a carb -> tbi adapter). What would I be looking at power wise? (undecided on cam ATM, but need something good for towing). I am also going to swap to roller rockers.

I did not go that route as a friend of mine had a spare set of 5.7 vortec heads he is willing to sell to me for $50. How hard are they to rebuild? I have never rebuilt heads before, so any books to pick up or website that has a run down how to do it?

Personally, I would have them done at a machine shop. Its not expensive and they have the specialized tools it takes to do it right and find out before its too late whether they are junk or not. As far as the rest of the build, check out TBIchips.com and read his builds. Hes getting 350-400hp and 20+MPG out of that combo.
