Another options, which I mentioned in another thread recently, is to flock the dash. It basically glues small fibers to give the dash a suede style feel and appearance. It's done a lot in rally cars to reduce dash glare. It's relatively cheap and there are tons of how-to videos online. Lots of colors to choose from too. You just need to fix the cracks, patch and sand your stock dash first.
