Dash Cubby Options

I have a 92 Blazer with an aftermarket head unit. I would eventually like to get a stock unit, but for now I was wondering if anyone had any pics of custom things that they had done with the cubby left by the factory radio. I was thinking a gps unit like some have said, but can't find any how to's or pics of it. Maybe a gauge pod also is an option. Thinking it would be nice to have a thread specific to the cubby in the 88-92 trucks.

I have been considering putting a backup camera screen there. My thought was to cut a blank out of ABS plastic to attach to the cubby with double side tape or screws and then center the somewhat smaller monitor screen on it. If it do it I will write it up.
