Custom built dash

I was going to swap my 94 dash for a 97 dash.
I’m leaning towards something entirely custom to better integrate things I want (like a tablet and dual glove boxes)

What kind of hvac controller can I swap in to get rid of the digital readout?

I’ll look at some wiring and such later tonight to see if I could use the 95+ hvac controller and add a custom panel and knobs

You can use the 96+ system, the wiring for the HVAC system is mostly standalone on the GMT400s. You will have to swap the mode, temp, and recirc door motors, blower relay, and resistor pack, but with the dash out, that's mostly easy.

Don't use a 95 system - they're a one-off year and you'll pay hell trying to find a working control head for one anyway
