I currently have the stock trans cooler and a (I think 14") derale rail cooler up in front of the condenser. It works pretty darn good except on hoty muggy days when towing my 2000# camper or 7000# trailer w/jeep up in the mountains, trans temp will still creep up to 220 degrees. I decided to upgrade to a 12x7 derale cooler with a fan, I plan on removing the rail cooler and using this on a manual switch (no thermostat) I was thinking of putting it under the hood near the second battery tray. WIll I get enough air flow here or should I stick it up behind the grill?

Anybody run this type of cooler, where is it mounted and what should I expect from it?
